Clean Shipping Project won the Green Initiative of the year in this years' Sustainable Shipping Awards
We are proud and honoured to announce that Clean Shipping Project has won the Green initiative of the year at this years' Sustainable Shipping awards in London 2010.

"Jan and I are grateful to get this prestigious award from Sustainable Shipping. It is great timing as we plan to approach European companies this Autumn and it gives us great strength to go forward," commented Ulf Duus, from the Clean Shipping Project on receiving the award."

Preparing for Network meeting
On Wednesday the 2nd of June the Clean Shipping Network will meet to discuss current topics and future developments of Clean Shipping Project. After the meeting some of us will continue to 'Mötesplats miljö' arranged by Port of Gothenburg. The Clean Shipping Project representative Jan Ahlbom will be a member of the panel discussing a sustainable Baltic Sea.

Clean Shipping Project has been nominated to the Sustainable Awards "Green Shipping Initiative of the Year". On Sustainable Shipping's website it says "This award celebrates and rewards the important work that is going on all over the world to assist the marine industry in improving environmental efficiency."

Clean Shipping on Green Port in Stockholm

Clean Shipping Index database goes live
The new Clean Shipping Database is finished and has been well accepted by the Clean Shipping Network. It is now possible for shipping companies to log on with their unique ID and submit information.
A lot of new ways of showing the data is possible for all cargo owners who use the database. You can choose to only show the performance of a specific vessel or shipping line or to make a list of the shipping lines or vessels that have the best performance in carbon dioxide emissions, or any other variable you're interested in.
