Ulf Duus is a toxicologist and chemist. Ulf has a consulting company called Toxhunter AB but spends most of his time with the Clean Shipping Project. For many years Ulf has been working with environmental development of large chemical products that flow through society. For instance he has catalyzed the development of environmentally adapted lubricants like hydraulic fluids, lubricant grease and stern tube oils. He has also – with significant environmental success – addressed tyres for cars and trucks, paints for houses and boats, degreasing agents for vehicles etc. Most of these projects were carried out in cooperation with Jan Ahlbom.

Jan Ahlbom is an environmental engineer working for the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland. Part time he works for the Clean Shipping Project which takes a great deal of his time. As an environmental engineer Jan is responsible for the governmental supervision of the oil harbour of Gothenburg, the oil refineries on the West Coast but also of some heavy chemical industry in the county. Jan has been engaged in most of the chemical projects that Ulf has worked in and has also a long experience of environmental problems and solutions with many different industrial processes and sectors.

Lennart Lagerfors works at the Göteborg Region Association of Local Authorities at the division of regional planning. Administrative tasks connected to economy etc are well taken care of by Lennart within the Clean Shipping Project. He was already a part of the project during the Green Chemistry Project. Lennart is and has been involved in many regional projects connected to environment, waste and energy issues, air and water quality.

Fredrik Bergroth is studying computer science at the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, specialized in theoretical computer science. He has developed, and are maintaining, the Clean Shipping Project database. Currently he is working on his master's thesis, involving algorithms from the field of computational geometry and robotics.

Sara is an environmental specialist and is the most recent addition to the Clean Shipping Project. She has worked in the transport sector for the last six years with focus on environmental issues. She has a masters degree in Environmental Science and a masters degree in Physical Geography with focus on Climate Change. Currently her focus is on Clean Shipping and her consulting firm Enviro Management, which handle environmental and health safety issues.
